Elefanter

i hela mitt liv har jag väntat på någon som liknade dig
Time is your enemy. Time is your comrade. Money is time. Every hour you spend at your job, or in front of the television, or eye-ball numb on the Internet, is another hour you are not either reading or trying to craft truthful sentences. Why truthful? Because sentences are like automobile engines: the only ones that work are the ones that have been put together correctly, thoughtfully, carefully. Our jobs are necessary and our families are important, but hobbies, sports, booze, and friends can be the writer’s enemies because they sap his time. William Giraldi
